srsf.transform(fdataobj)

Arguments

fdataobj

An object of class 'fdata'.

Value

An object of class 'fdata' containing the SRSF-transformed curves.

Details

Compute the Square-Root Slope Function (SRSF) transformation of functional data: \(q(t) = \text{sign}(f'(t)) \sqrt{|f'(t)|}\).
